Single Rope Hanging Grab

  • Volume 0.3~8m³
  • Self-weight 1.9~9.6 t
  • Crane capacity 1~20 ton

    Description

The grab bucket refers to a special tool used by a crane to grab dry bulk cargo. The container space is composed of two or more bucket-shaped jaw plates that can be opened and closed. When loading, the jaw plates are closed in the material pile, and the materials are captured into the container space. When unloading, the jaw plates are in the material pile. It is opened in the suspended state, and the materials are scattered on the pile. The opening and closing of the jaw plate is generally controlled by the wire rope of the crane lifting mechanism. The grab operation does not require heavy physical labor, can achieve high loading and unloading efficiency and ensure safety. It is the main dry bulk cargo loading and unloading tool in the port.

    Working Condition

    1. Before operating the bucket truck, check the working site and surrounding environment to ensure safety; clean the surface of the bucket truck; check whether the power supply and equipment are normal.
    2. Start the bucket truck: Operate the bucket truck switch according to the on-site command requirements to start the bucket truck.
    3. Use the operating grab to carry out operations, and follow instructions to complete the entry and exit of materials, as well as stacking and cutting.
    4. After the operation is completed, return the grab bucket, turn off the power of the bucket truck, clean the work area, and make records.

    Features

Simplicity of Design: The single-rope suspended grab is known for its straightforward design, which makes it easy to operate and maintain. This simplicity reduces the likelihood of mechanical failures and simplifies maintenance procedures.

Versatility: These grabs can be used for a wide range of materials and applications, from handling bulk materials like sand and gravel to smaller objects. Their adaptability makes them suitable for various industries, including construction, mining, and agriculture.

Cost-Effectiveness: Single-rope suspended grabs are often more cost-effective compared to more complex grabbing systems. They offer a cost-efficient solution for lifting and transporting materials without the need for expensive additional equipment or controls.

Ease of Use: These grabs are relatively easy for operators to handle and control. Operators can quickly grasp and release materials, leading to efficient loading and unloading processes. This ease of use contributes to improved productivity on worksites.
